Streatham Festival 2011

Streatham Festival took Streatham by storm between 2nd - 10th July this year to celebrate their 10th year.   Packed with over 40 events including Big Day Out at the top of Streatham Common and the World Sounds Concert, the Festival was a huge success once again.

Streatham Action ran an enlightening consultation asking residents "If you could change one thing about Streatham, what would it be?" Residents added their comments to the giant map of Streatham which included items such as 'Save our Leisure Centre,' 'Plant more trees' and 'Keep the park rangers.'  Streatham Action were also proud to sponsor Transition Streatham's Pedal Powered Cinema at The Big Day Out showing their consultation film made in 2009, Head For the Shed, to a small but enthusiastic crowd.
