Youth Theatre for Streatham

I am a creative learning practitioner and I am currently
the course director for a reputable London theatre - which means I run
youth theatres and other one off theatre projects for children aged
from 3 - 18. I have lived here for 7 years now, and I have been
considering starting something of good quality for local children for
some time. The only thing which has stopped me is being unsure of what
interest I might get: Does anyone have a young person who would be
interested in joining a youth theatre? I am a very child centered
practitioner, which mneas they would be making their own work, not
staging musical theatre! I also intend to keep costs way more
reasonable than your average stage coach fees- let me know what you
think - personally, I think the more we offer our young people
activities wise the happier everyone is.

Youth Theatre fror Streatham

Streatham used to have a youth theatre/dance school at teh bottom of Wellfield Road.

My children (11 and 10) would both be interested and I am sure you would have lots of support of you went ahead .. particularly if the cost was kept reasonable.
