My First 1000 days

This project aims offers respite for disadvantaged young carers that are at risk of social exclusion, by improving their quality of life using Yoga, meditation and mindfulness as well as sport and other wellbeing activities to alleviate a sedentary lifestyle.

 

My First 1000 Days’ planned activities will help reduce stress, anxiety and depression rates among project participants, by increasing participation in Sport and promoting healthy lifestyle habits.

 

They will build relationships between each other using sport and physical activity as part of a group, whilst boosting self-esteem and sharing their experiences with others.​​
